Upper School History – Mrs. Kate Kelsey

Mrs. Kate Kelsey is the Upper School History teacher. A native of Tennessee, she graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. She loves watching college football, especially to cheer for the Tennessee Volunteers. Ms. Bell taught English in St. Petersburg, Russia, for two summers at the Institute of Physics while doing missionary work there. She has also been on mission trips to several countries and loves to travel. This is Ms. Bell’s sixth year of teaching and she feels blessed to be a part of the CCA staff. Her son, Ben, is currently an eighth grader and they are both active members of FBC-Clinton. In addition to being an avid reader, Kate enjoys horseback riding, walking/hiking, cooking and singing in the choir. She is an advocate and year around shoebox packer for the Samaritan’s Purse program called Operation Christmas Child.
