3rd Grade – Mrs. Linda Wilson

Call to Action

I have been teaching in some capacity since 1974.  I have spent the majority of time at Leeton Schools or Knob Knoster on the Base.  I have only missed teaching somewhere in some way for about 3 years.  I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and Kindergarten.  I have also given music lessons and taught music at Shawnee Mound for 1 year while my youngest son was a baby.  I have a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  I have been trained by the state mentoring program.  I have served as a STARR Teacher for the State of Missouri.  My teaching career has been full and rewarding, but I have never felt more fulfilled than I do at CCA.  My husband and I have lived in a 20 mile radius of where we live now for our entire life.  We are now living on the farm where I have lived since 1950.  We have three children and four grandchildren.  We row crop and background feed cattle.  After retiring from public school teaching, I found that I was not ready to leave the classroom.  CCA has been an answer to prayer for us.  I have always loved to teach, but to be able to teach in a Christian atmosphere is a dream come true.
