David Stevens

High School Math & Bible

God has blessed our family richly in the spiritual realms and led us to the ministry of Clinton Christian Academy. This is my third year at CCA, and I am thrilled to be in the classroom with your children full-time! My wife and I recently celebrated our 35 th anniversary. We both prepared to teach at Harding University, a Christian school in Searcy, Arkansas. God has blessed us with nine children and one granddaughter (so far). We have a multitude of experiences in both Christian and secular educational settings including: church Bible classes and small groups, homeschool, private Christian school, public school, public charter school, dual credit early colleges school, and Department of Defense Dependent Schools overseas in England and Germany. I have taught in public schools for five years in Arkansas and Missouri in the subjects of math, social studies, personal finance, and Air Force Junior ROTC. In my first two years at CCA, I taught high school English and math. In the Air Force, I taught for eight years at the Intelligence Officer Course, National Cryptologic School, Officer Training School, and Space Intelligence Formal Training Unit. My first master’s degree is in math education, and I am certified to teach math and social studies for middle/high school in Missouri and Arkansas. I retired from the Air Force in 2015 as a Lieutenant Colonel with 26 years of service in the Army and Air Force. In 2010, I earned a Master of Military Operational Art and Science from Air University. One of my undergraduate majors was Bible/Ministry, and I am just
over halfway through a Master of Divinity degree with the Harding School of Theology in Memphis, Tennessee. As a Christian, I believe God has given us the roles of ministers of reconciliation and ambassadors for Christ. I believe this is the purpose and goal of Christian education—to lead our children to God through Jesus the Christ.
