James grew up in Greenwood, AR before moving to Kansas City in 2018 to attend Spurgeon College. He graduated with his B.A. in Business Leadership in 2020 and is currently pursuing his MDiv at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He moved to Appleton City with his wife Amy and daughter Ella in April of 2025 and currently serves as the pastor of FBC Appleton City. They just welcomed their son Silas in April of this year. He currently enjoys reading in his free time, cooking BBQ, and watching sports. Woo Pig Sooie and Go Chiefs!
