God has truly blessed me by allowing me to serve in the field of education for many years. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Master’s Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education, and a Specialist Degree in Education from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO. I have served 11 years as an elementary teacher, 6 years as an Elementary Building Principal and 14 years as a District Superintendent in the Missouri public school systems. I joined the CCA staff in 2018 and it is exciting to serve as the Lead Administrator at Clinton Christian Academy! I enjoy working closely with the teaching staff in the areas of curriculum and instruction. I also love getting to know all of our students here at CCA! Children are truly a gift from God and it is a privilege that parents have entrusted these precious gifts to the staff here at CCA where we strive to “prepare hearts and minds to impact the world for Jesus Christ.”
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Steve. We were blessed and highly favored to be able to move here to Clinton to be near our daughter, Miranda Curnutte, and her husband, Eric. Grandsons, Isaac and Seth, bring us so much joy and attend CCA. Additionally, I enjoy singing, piano, and reading!

Upper School Principal
I am so excited to be a part of the growing Clinton Christian Academy. There is no doubt the Lord has led me to accept the position of Upper School Principal at CCA.
I have worked in public education for the past 15 years. The Lord has blessed me in many ways as a public school teacher but has now led our family here.
I began my education at Missouri State University where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in K-12 Health and Physical Education in 2005. In 2007 I received a Master’s degree in Education Administration. Soon after I became certified to teach Biology. For the last several years I have taught Biology, other Sciences, and Physical Education at Osceola Public Schools.
My husband, Nathan and I have three children who will be joining me at Clinton Christian Academy. Clara, our oldest daughter, is 14 and will be in the 9th grade. Hadley, our son, is 11 and will be in the 6th grade. Mayme, our youngest daughter, is 9 and will be in the 4th grade. We reside in Lowry City, MO where my husband runs his business, Wood Customs. Along with being involved in our church, First Baptist of Lowry City, sports and outdoor activities keep us busy as a family.
I am honored to be a part of Clinton Christian Academy where God is moving in many lives. Please join me in continuing to pray for all involved in CCA. May the Lord bless this school in its entirety. I cannot wait to get to know and serve the students, parents and staff of Clinton Christian Academy.

Guidance Counselor / Athletic Director
After graduating Chilhowee High School, I earned a B.S.E. in English and Secondary Health/Physical Education at CMSU. I began teaching junior high English and coaching junior high basketball and track in March of 1975 in the Ferguson-Florissant School District in St. Louis County. Three years later I moved closer to home and taught English and coached varsity basketball and track at Nevada High School. While at Nevada I completed my masters degree in guidance and counseling through CMSU. Five years later I moved to Clinton where I taught two years of middle school English, seven years of high school English and five years of yearbook, before moving into the special education department as a psychological examiner for the remainder of my career. Along the way I coached middle school football, middle school track, boys jv basketball, and varsity girls basketball two different stints. After enjoying a year and a half of retirement, I finished the year teaching English and coaching boys basketball at Montrose. In the fall of 2007, God and Gene Reid led me to teach middle school English at CCA, and that winter I coached the first CCA girls’ basketball team.
My wife, Patty, and I enjoy our five children and fifteen grandchildren. I like to hunt and fish at every opportunity, and I serve the Lord through First Baptist Church of Clinton and CCA.
