LtCol Hans Morris

Bible, US History/Constitution and World History

It is my honor to begin teaching here at CCA.   I am currently the strength and conditioning coach and will now be teaching: 11th grade Bible, US History/Constitution, and World History.

I grew up in Ballard.  After high school I joined the Marine Corps, and after 26 years I retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. While in the military I completed my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and my M.S. in Military Studies from the Marine Corps University.  Recently, I served as a Police Officer on the Crisis Intervention Team and as a  SWAT Officer for Lee's Summit PD for five years.

I have three sons Zachary, Maxon, and Conner, as well as a daughter Carly.  My wife Holly is an RN at Cass Regional. I enjoy martial arts, lifting weights, camping, shooting, and hunting.   Throughout our travels around the country with the Marine Corps, I have served in many capacities with our churches: youth leader, AWANA director, Sunday school teacher, usher, security, Deacon and Elder.

I am excited to be part of the CCA family, I truly believe in the mission of this school and the guiding principles:  Love for God, Love for Learning, Love for Others, and Love for Country.
