Sandra Poff

Publications/History/Public Speaking/Bible/Spelling

My name is Sandra Poff and I am really excited to be teaching my second year here at CCA.  I became a follower of Jesus when I was a child and grew up knowing I wanted to spend my life serving God.

I received my BA in Religion from Missouri Baptist University (with concentrations in Philosophical Studies and Historical Theology) in 2003.  In 2010, I graduated with my Masters of Divinity in Christian Education from Missouri Baptist Theological Seminary.

During the last 20 years, I have been blessed to serve with some pretty awesome churches, working with both children and teenagers.  I have been a foster parent for over a decade now and created The Beacon, designed to be a family connection center where we work and minister to a variety of people in our community.  Since coming to Clinton in 2011, I have regularly presented at Chapel and have had two of my foster kiddos attend here.  I try to wake up daily with the prayer of, "Lord, where do you need me today?"  Currently, that is serving as the youth director at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Warsaw, leading The Beacon her in Clinton, and teaching here full time at CCA.

I am very excited to be teaching Publications, Public Speaking, Bible for 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th grade and History for 6th grade.  These are all topics I am very passionate about, and I hope your children will grow to learn so much with me this year!
